If you were looking in a dictionary of what exactly a booster club is, you would find this: A Booster Club is an organization that is formed to contribute money to an associated club, sports team, or organization.
In other words most booster clubs are set up to run booster club fundraisers. Of course it does a lot more but the fact of the matter is that most booster clubs are set up to provide the resources that the school or organization can not do with the budget is has been provided.
Booster Clubs are popular in American schools below the university level. The clubs are generally run and organized by the parents of the students in the supported organization. Fundraisers are often held to raise money for supplies or equipment that the students may need or for trips that the students may need to take. That sounds simple enough, right? Well it is a little bit harder to start one yourself.
If you want to learn how to run a booster club, there are a few things that you need to know before jumping in the deep end.
Running a booster club is a lot harder than it sounds. You need to have patience, time, creativity, and organizational skills. The best way to get a booster club started is to get a group together. This group needs to be on the same page as to what this booster club is for. You don’t want to have a booster club that is helping a swim team, and the people in the club think that it is helping the baseball team. The next step that you should take is to create committees. If you want the swim team to go on trips, have parties, and get new gear, you need to create different committees that head each aspect. This way one person is not overwhelmed with all of these things.
The most popular way of raising money is to have some sort of fundraiser.
Whether it is a car wash, bake sale, or swim-a-thon, you need to make sure that they are well organized. These tasks can be overwhelming to many people, so there are new ways to get your fundraiser up and running. The internet is a great way to find easy and profitable fundraisers.
Many websites have several different fundraisers that you can create with just a few clicks of a button. The new popular fundraising idea is the scratch cards. These cards are credit card size, and have a list of restaurants and activities that give you a discount. It has something for everyone, which makes it such a great seller. They are also fairly inexpensive which give it another great point when making a sale. After you have done the fundraiser, you can collect the money and spend it on what the booster club had planned.

But many more came, who participated just for the love of running,” said Ramos. However, broadcaster Daniel Razon, the brainchild of the project, said that they are not interested in the Guinnes World Record recognition, but mainly to develop awareness on doing good with every opportune moment by urging all to participate and realize their advocacy of providing computer facilities for public schools students. Ramos said that with the simultaneous stagings of the event in the cities of Cebu, Bacolod, Tacloban, Davao, Butuan and Puerto Princesa in Palawan, the overall nationwide turnouts exceeded the targeted 300000 runners. As expected runners from Kenya led by Alex Melly reasserted their superiority over their Filipino counterparts by dominating the 10-km category. Melly pocketed the P35,000 top purse, while …
