The most trained muscle in the gym is the biceps. They are the best muscle to show off in a t-shirt (tight shirt) and they give the immediate appearance of strength. There are numerous biceps building exercises to choose from and the biggest mistake is picking the wrong ones and doing too many of them.

The reason most guys have arms that don’t grow is because they have the wrong idea about how to build huge arms. For some reason early on we are taught that more is better but I can tell you that those rules does not work when you try to use them with arm training. If you do too many exercises and sets and your arms will not be able to recover in between workouts and they will never grow. To build your biceps all you really need is two exercises. These two muscle building exercises will change the way your arms look forever.

The Close Grip Reverse Chin UpThe first of the muscle building exercises that you must use to grow massive biceps is the close grip reverse chin up. Don’t be fooled that this is simply a pull up with a reverse grip. It will make your arms grow faster than curls. Set your hands only about 6 to 8 inches apart rather than taking a wide grip. Anytime you do an exercise where you physically have to move your body through space your muscles are forced to work harder and will adapt quicker.That is why exercises like squats, deadlifts, chin ups, and dips work so well at gaining muscle mass. Do 4 sets of 6 to 8 reps of reverse chin ups. Pull yourself up as fast as you can and lower yourself down slower with a count of about 2 seconds. Rest about 2 minutes in between sets and hit another set. If you can do more than 6 to 8 reps it’s time to add some resistance. You’ll need one of those belts with a chain around it to strap plates on. If you don’t have one of these you can cross your feet and put a small dumbbell hanging from them. Or get some rope and tie a couple plates around your waist. Add just enough resistance so that you are hitting the 6 to 8 repetition range.

Standing Bicep Barbell CurlThis is pretty self explanatory, just a straight or cambered curl bar with some weights on the end. The best muscle building exercises are usually the simplest movements with free weights. Strict form is the essential part of a barbell curl if you want them to do something for you. Keep your back straight with your elbows tight to your sides. Don’t use momentum to get the weight started up. If you need to swing the weight up then check your ego and lower the weights. You want your biceps to be hurting at the completion for the set rather than your lower back and shoulders. Do 4 sets of this for 6 to 8 reps. Remember that the form is really the key here because you are looking for maximum biceps stimulation. Once you get to 6 or 7 really strict reps you can cheat on 1 to get to number 8 but that’s it.

Increase the Resistance ConsistentlyThis is a simple workout and simple works the best. If you stick to this for six weeks your biceps will grow fast but you need to make sure you are consistently increasing the weight and always trying to perform more repetitions. Don’t do the same amount of work each time you hit the gym. The best way to make sure you always push a little harder is by keeping a workout journal. Keeping a log ensures long term success.

5 Muscle Building Tips

If you want to have bigger muscles want it fast, there are some hardships that you have to undergo first.  In order for you to do this, and overcome the hardships as well, you will have to listen to some muscle building tips so that you will be able to gain the muscles that you desire for. Read on and try to master these so you will be on the right track of having muscles rapidly!

Tip #1. You need to set goals for yourself. Everything should come from you; the desire to do it must come directly from within you. By having a personal goal then you will have something to look forward to, a motivation to keep you going. For instance, setting a goal weight or a chest or even bicep measure that you would want to have; list this down so that you can always refer to it. Just make sure that you set realistic and attainable goals, not something very far from the truth or something.

Tip #2.

Have a structure diet that you will also religiously follow. Take note that our body needs vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and nutrients so that it will be able to build muscles. Therefore, you need to eat! Do not think that you will get fat if you will eat; the truth is that our body needs lost of quality calories a day; no trash please. Absolutely no junk foods; stay clear of empty calories and those sugary ones. Focus and eat only high quality protein foods, some good fats, and carbo that are spread all over the day for 6-8 meals. Take note: the more that you eat, the faster your chances of increasing your weight and eventually your size.

Tip #3. Have an intense training that includes weight lifting. The major key to muscle building is really having an intense series of workouts. Do the heavy weight lifting ones and some compound exercises such as dead lifts, squats, and bench presses. These exercises will certainly work well with your goal of quicker building of muscles.

Additional tip here that you can try is to have supplements. Be aware that your body needs all the extra nutrients and energy that it can get during and especially after the intense workouts you are doing. Creatine, whey proteins, and carbohydrates should be taken before, while and after the workouts. They will add the needed difference in your goal.

Tip #4. Of course, you need to rest and eventually recover. This is especially more so after the time that your body has developed muscles already. You really have to be sure that you will give your body the needed rest and the recovery period in between your workouts. Some 48 until 72 hours are recommended. This will mean that you are not supposed to have your training for more than 3 times within the week. Continue the workouts only after tour body has really fully recovered.

Tip #5. You need discipline. Having the goal and staying on it should also be done and followed by having discipline. Whoever told you that muscle building is easy is definitely wrong; but it will be worth it if you will stay disciplined and motivated. It is okay to miss a session, don’t fret about it, just make sure that you will stay on the course and you still have the focus to go on and reach your goals.

When you hear the words “body building” what do you think of? Do you think about women and men with huge muscles parading about in tiny bathing suits and posing for pictures? Do you think of the man who is able to, unassisted, lift hundreds of pounds? You might not believe this but there is more to body building than just creating balloon sized muscles for yourself. Body building is something people do when they want to strengthen and tone their muscles to get into better shape.

Body building is something pretty much everyone can do. Here are some hints to help you begin!

Find someone who can help you. As a new body builder you are going to make a few mistakes as you put together your training regimen. A training partner or a personal trainer can help you form good habits from the outset. When you have a partner to work with you will have better luck at building a great routine for body building. You will be far more likely to have success and far less likely to hurt yourself by making silly mistakes. Eventually you will learn enough that you will be able to confidently develop your own body building exercise regimen but if you are new to the sport, it is better to let someone teach you what you need to do. Your body will be thankful that you did.

Protien is very important for body builders. It is very important that you get enough protein so that your muscles will be able to build back up correctly after you work out. Lots of body builders will add protein powders to their food so that they can be sure they are taking in enough of it. When you are first tarting the sport this probably won’t be as important to you. Eating a well balanced diet should be enough when you first start out. If you start to really enjoy the sport and get into it you might consider using protein additives to help your body make up what it lacks in the fiber. Ask your doctor which type of protein powder you should use.

Have regular check ins with your doctor. Your doctor can help you make sure that you are getting the work out you need while still keeping your muscles in check. A doctor will be able to help you take steps to prevent causing yourself accidental harm when you work out while still making sure that the workouts are having the effect on your body that they should be having. Your doctor will not only help you identify issues as they occur, he or she will help keep them from advancing too much. At the very least you should see a doctor when you start your body building to make sure you take the right approach to your new fitness routine. Body building is a great way to get your body into amazing shape. For many beginning body builders, increasing one’s health is the main goal. It is later on that they decide to shift their focuses to the outward physique instead of muscle building. It is important that you take care to approach body building the right way. Don’t forget that your first priority is to stay healthy. Do not let yourself take an unnecessary risk. Don’t push yourself too hard or to fast. You will get to the place you want to go. If you want to get there, you need to be ready to put in the time and the effort to do so.
