If you’re looking for a bit more in your workout routine and would like to add to your current one then the next step may just be the Iron Gym Xtreme. This is not your average pull up bar but it has much more to offer. The Xtreme version is the level up from the basic one which allows you more gripping positions to better customize your workout.

There are many benefits to this unique device. One of the highlights of this is that it does not need to be mounted with any type of hardware in order for it to be used. It can be taken right out of the box and placed in any standard doorframe and it’s ready to use. It can also be placed on the floor of the frame to be used for exercises such as sit-ups. It can then be taken right to the open floor to be used for a variety of pushups and dips that help target your triceps and biceps. All of these moves can be made with ease because it never has to be permanently mounted.

Another strong benefit that this device has going for it is the low price. The basic Iron Gym can be purchased for around $ 30 in most brick and mortar locations or on sites like Amazon.com. If you want to get a bit more out of the device and decide to go with the Xtreme edition you can expect to pay about an additional $ 10. So for just $ 40 you get the best version available and it will surely be worth every penny.

There are a few minor cons to the product that I’ve seen overall. The first is related to the weight that the unit can stand up to. If you are an individual that weighs more than 300lbs it not recommended that you use this bar. It can lead to injury to you as well as the doorframe you’re using it on. Although it is a very solid unit, it is just not made for this type of weight.

The only other con is the misleading approach to the “free” ab strap bonus. It seems in some cases that you’re getting this add-on to your bar for free but in all reality you need to send in the form that comes in the box and pay the shipping and handling in order to receive these. The shipping and handling is a fair price I would say so if you wanted to add these it would be worth it.

If you are looking for a great way to get in shape and get the results you want in the shortest amount of time the Iron Gym Xtreme is the way to go. It’s cheap, it’s solid and with steady use of all of the different exercises it has to offer you can look forward to the body you’ve been wanting in just a few months.

While shopping in one of my favorite stores a few nights ago I came across what looked like an ordinary chin-bar, but with a little something extra. Upon closer examination I learned that the Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar had a few more features than an ordinary chin-up bar did. It looked so interesting that I had to take a closer look.

For approximately $ 30 this chin-up bar deluxe was not only designed for chin-ups and pull-ups, but also for push-ups, crunches, dips and more. The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar also had to its advantage three gripping positions for your hands. There was the wide, the narrow, and the neutral gripping comforts.

The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar works on several muscles including your biceps, your back, and the upper body in general. The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar could be used in doorways, but also conveniently can be removed and placed on the floor to continue your workout by allowing you to exercise by doing sit-ups, push-ups, and dips.

It works the muscles on your outer and inner back muscles.

The Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar is a bar that allows you the convenience of working out in your home and avoiding the high cost of gym or fitness club memberships. It is reasonably priced and installs in the doorway in just minutes without marring the door frame with holes and screws. It will fit in doorways that are 24 inches to 32 inches wide. I was skeptical when I first saw the tv ads featuring the iron gym pull up bar, but after actually purchasing the iron gym all of my doubts have vanished.

There are a number of reasons why the Iron Gym is a great piece of workout equipment, but the main reason we buy products such as this are the results. I have had the Iron Gym for about two months now and I have seen a huge difference in my arms and upper back, not to mention my abdominal muscles. Just a few minutes a day in each specific exercise can lead to great results.

Secondly, the versatility of the Iron Gym sets it apart from other ordinary pull up bars. You can do pull up exercises with a number of different grips to focus on certain muscle groups. The different grip positions include chinup position, ordinary grip pull up position, outer grip pull up position, and inside grip pull up position. The Iron Gym also offers ab straps for knee lifts, which are a great way to strengthen your abdominal muscles. Take the Iron Gym to the ground for push ups and tricep lifts. I have to be honest and say that I don’t really find the tricep lifts very effective with the Iron Gym, but the pushup position allows your chest to descend below what would ordinarily be the floor level to maximize lift and muscle strengthening.

The Iron Gym’s portability is another huge detail that sets this equipment apart from the rest. It takes literally a second to set up the Iron Gym in your doorway and a second to take it down. I just moved into a new apartment and it was no problem moving my home gym. Can you say that about a lot of the other home gyms out there?

The biggest problem with the home gym is ordering the product. The best way to get your hands on one is to head to a store near you that sells “As Seen on TV” products such as CVS or Bed Bath and Beyond, or you could go the easier route and just order one, along with other Iron Gym products at Amazon.com by clicking on the links provided in my blog page. Ordering through Amazon will be faster and cheaper than ordering from the tv ad, as well as more convenient than going to the store, which might not even carry them. If you do end up buying one in a nearby store you are still going to have to send away for the ab straps which will take at least a month to arrive.
